FINANCIAL QUESTIONS

Q. What are the rates?
A. Carondelet Village has housing and service options that vary depending on size of the apartment and the services ordered. To obtain specific rate information, please call 651-695-5005 or send us a message.

Q. How often is the rent increased?
A. All Presbyterian Homes communities review their budgets annually. A 45-60 day notice is given before a rent increase goes into effect.

Q. What types of assistance are accepted?
A. Carondelet Village does not participate in financial assistance programs at this time.

Q. How much will Medicare cover in assisted living?
A. Medicare is a federal health insurance program. It will cover some costs of home health/skilled nursing services.

Q. What will my long term care insurance pay for?
A. Some long term care insurance policies cover assisted living as well as skilled care centers. Policies vary, so please consult your insurance company’s benefits administrator to determine what your particular policy covers.

Q. Is there a waiting list?
A. Carondelet Village may have a waiting list, but this does not necessarily mean that there is no availability. Some people are waiting for a specific type of apartment, a certain view, etc. which may mean other units are available. It is best to call and speak to a housing advisor at 651-695-5005.

A. Our staff will help you determine what type of setting would best meet your needs and preferences.

Q. Do I have to be Presbyterian or Catholic to live at Carondelet Village?
A. No, all faiths are welcome without preference. Residents choose whether or not to participate in any of the variety of spiritual programs offered.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q. Are pets allowed?
A. Yes, pets are allowed. They must be controlled by the owner at all times and, when out and about, must be on a leash or in a carrier.

Q. Is smoking permitted?
A. Carondelet Village is smoke-free. Smoking is prohibited by residents and guests in all areas of the buildings and grounds, including individual residences. Employees may not smoke on the property at any time.
