The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Paul Province and Presbyterian Homes & Services built Carondelet Village as a resource for not only those living there, but also for seniors residing in the surrounding community. Purposefully, common spaces in Carondelet Circle, the “hub” of Carondelet Village, are more than 30 percent larger than comparable senior communities. The open and welcoming atmosphere invites residents and neighboring elders to participate in vital living programs that empower them to remain vibrant and independent.
The holistic and strength-based approach to wellness that underscores vital living programs in Carondelet Circle relies on participants and caregivers developing mutually-beneficial relationships based on trust and respect that empower aging adults to maximize their health, wellness and independence.
Carondelet Village residents and seniors residing in the surrounding neighborhood (zip codes 55102, 55103, 55014, 55015 and 55116) are welcome to use Carondelet Circle as an access point for both private and public social service providers that support full health, wellness, and rehabilitative services, life-long learning, spirituality, and creative enrichment opportunities.
Philanthropy plays an important role in supporting Carondelet Village, Inc. The depth and breadth of ongoing Circle programs and activities exceeds the rent/fee income collected, and donations from individuals, corporations and foundations make up the difference.
